Tips:

  • Choose a good piece of salmon: Look for a piece of salmon that is firm and has a vibrant color. Avoid any salmon that has a dull color or looks slimy.
  • Season the salmon well: Before baking, season the salmon with salt, pepper, and other spices of your choice. This will help to enhance the flavor of the fish.
  • Use a high-quality baking sheet: A good baking sheet will help to ensure that the salmon cooks evenly. Look for a baking sheet that is made of a heavy material, such as cast iron or stainless steel.
  • Preheat your oven: Always preheat your oven before baking the salmon. This will help to ensure that the fish cooks evenly.
  • Don't overcook the salmon: Salmon is a delicate fish, so it is important to not overcook it. Cook the salmon for just until it is cooked through, but still flakes easily with a fork.
