Tips:

  • Use bone-in pork chops. Bone-in pork chops are more flavorful and juicy than boneless pork chops.
  • Season the pork chops well. Pork chops can handle a lot of seasoning, so don't be afraid to use a generous amount of salt, pepper, and other spices.
  • Sear the pork chops before baking them. Searing the pork chops helps to develop a nice crust and lock in the juices.
  • Bake the pork chops at a high temperature. Pork chops should be baked at a high temperature (400 degrees Fahrenheit or higher) to ensure that they cook through quickly and evenly.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked through. Pork chops should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the pork chops rest before serving. Letting the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful chop.

Conclusion:

Baked pork chops with apples is a classic dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. By following these tips, you can ensure that your pork chops are cooked perfectly and that the apples are tender and flavorful. This dish is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.
