Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your baked oatmeal will be. Overripe bananas that are about to turn brown are perfect for this recipe.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the baked oatmeal tough. Just mix the ingredients until they are combined.
  • Bake the oatmeal until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will take about 30-35 minutes.
  • Let the oatmeal cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help it to set and make it easier to slice.
  • Serve the oatmeal with your favorite toppings. Some popular options include fresh berries, nuts, seeds, and yogurt.

Conclusion:

Baked oatmeal is a delicious and versatile breakfast option that can be enjoyed all year round. It's easy to make, can be tailored to your own dietary needs and preferences, and is a great way to use up ripe bananas. Whether you're looking for a quick and easy weekday breakfast or a special weekend brunch, baked oatmeal is a great choice.
