Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: Use firm, tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp that hold their shape during baking.
  • Slice apples evenly: Uniform apple slices ensure even baking and prevent some pieces from becoming too mushy or crunchy.
  • Toss apples in cinnamon-sugar mixture: This coating adds a delightful sweetness and crunch to the apples.
  • Bake at high temperature initially: This helps to caramelize the sugar in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and create a crisp exterior on the apples.
  • Reduce temperature and continue baking: Lowering the temperature allows the apples to cook through without burning.
  • Serve warm or cold: Baked cinnamon apple slices are a versatile dessert that can be enjoyed warm with ice cream or whipped cream, or chilled for a refreshing snack.

Conclusion:

Baked cinnamon apple slices are an easy-to-make, delicious, and healthy dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
