1 tablespoon chopped onion
3 tablespoons butter, divided
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets, cooked and drained
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
6 saltines, crumbled

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, saute chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thick and bubbly. , Remove from the heat; stir in cheese until melted. Fold in cauliflower, ham, mushrooms and pimientos. 4 cups chopped fresh cauliflower
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups 2% milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
TOPPING:
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Place cauliflower in a large saucepan; cover with 1 in. water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes or until tender. , Meanwhile, in another large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually add milk. 2 1/3 cups uncooked small pasta shells (about 8 oz)
1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
3 cups 1% low-fat milk
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup diced cooked extra-lean ham
2 slices (1 oz each) whole wheat bread, torn into quarters
2 teaspoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

12 oz cauliflower florets ((about 3 ½ cups - a head of cauliflower should yield 3-4 cups))
1 lb farfalle bowtie pasta ((uncooked))
3 cups whole milk
1 `cup chicken broth
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic ((minced))
¼ tsp each, salt & pepper
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
½ cup Parmesan cheese ((grated))
2 ½ cups cheddar cheese ((grated - reserve 1/2 cup for topping))
1 cup ham ((cooked, diced))
¼ cup Panko breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and coat a 9x13 baking dish or 2.5 quart casserole dish lightly with oil or non-stick spray.
  • In a large saucepan or stockpot bring 8 cups of salted water to a boil, then add the cauliflower florets. Cook at a low boil for 4-5 minutes, or until fork tender. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked cauliflower to the prepared baking dish.
  • Return the water to a boil and add the bowtie pasta. Cook until al dente (usually 1-2 minutes shy of the package instructions). Drain the pasta and rinse under cool water before mixing with the cauliflower in your baking dish.
  • In a saucepan whisk together the milk, broth, and all-purpose flour. Then add the garlic, salt & pepper, and Dijon mustard and whisk until smooth.

1/2 lb diced black forest ham
2 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
