2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
1 large egg
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
for the cream cheese glaze
3 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon nonfat milk
2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts, toasted if desired

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a doughnut pan with cooking spray.
