12 slices bacon

1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 (8-ounce) package fresh cremini mushrooms, quartered
3 sprigs fresh rosemary
½ cup dry white wine

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°.
  • In a 12-inch cast-iron skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until partially cooked, about 2 minutes. Remove bacon, and let drain on paper towels, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings in skillet.

4 3 ounce boneless pork loin chop
4 slice bacon
4 Tbsp your favorite bbq sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around chop holding ends with tooth pick.
  • 3. Bake 15 minutes and then remove toothpicks. Turn over and bake another 15 minutes.
  • 4. Brush 1/2 of the BBQ sauce on the chops and broil until bacon starts to turn crisp (about 5 minutes). Turn over and brush with remaining BBQ sauce return to broiler and broil about 5 minutes.
  • 5. Note: if you use a broiler pan it lets all the greese from bacon drippings collect away from the meat. On the lighter side subs. Turkey bacon for pork bacon.
