Yummy! This is a great dish to take to barbecues, football parties, pot lucks. **I have no idea the # of ounces, but you want the large size Ranch (not the jumbo, just large) and the regular package of penne pasta.

Tips:
- For a creamier dressing, use full-fat mayonnaise and sour cream.
- To make the salad ahead of time, cook the bacon and broccoli, and chop the remaining vegetables. Store the dressing and salad components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When ready to serve, assemble the salad and toss with the dressing.
- For a healthier version of the salad, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise and sour cream. You can also use whole-wheat pasta and reduced-fat cheese.
- To add more flavor to the salad, try using different types of cheese, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan. You can also add other vegetables, such as chopped red onion, bell pepper, or zucchini.
- If you don't have any ranch dressing mix on hand, you can make your own by combining 1/4 cup dried buttermilk powder, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1/2 teaspoon dried chives, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Conclusion:
Bacon broccoli ranch pasta salad is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for potlucks, picnics, and summer gatherings. It is also a great way to use up leftover bacon and broccoli. With its creamy dressing, crunchy bacon, and tender broccoli, this salad is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
