1 egg
1 tbsp milk
1/3 c real bacon bits
1/4 c shredded Swiss cheese
1 tbsp dried miced onion
1 large plum tomato, seeded and finely chopped, divided
1 tube (10.2 oz) larget refrigerated biscuits

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg and milk until blended. Stir in the bacon, cheese, onion and 1/2 the tomato; set aside. 2. Cut each mixcuit into 4 pieces; press each piece into a creased miniature muffin cup. Fill with cream cheese mixture; top with reamining tomato. 3. Bake at 375 for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown.

Tips:

  • For the best results, use a refrigerated biscuit dough that is not flaky. Flaky dough will not hold together well and will be more likely to fall apart.
  • If you don't have a biscuit cutter, you can use a knife or a glass to cut the dough into rounds.
  • Be sure to cook the bacon until it is crispy. This will help to prevent the bacon from becoming soggy in the biscuits.
  • Don't overfill the biscuit cups. If you do, the biscuits will not cook evenly and may be doughy in the center.
  • Serve the bacon biscuit bites warm, with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Bacon biscuit bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can also be enjoyed as a quick and easy breakfast or lunch.
