WILD RICE WITH MUSHROOMS AND BACON
Here's a tasty sounding recipe I found in a local newspaper. I haven't tried this one yet, but it's made with some of my favorite foods, so I imagine it'll be quite tasty. Per all reviewers I've changed the amount of chicken broth from the original 4 cups to 3 cups.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Look for thick-cut bacon, fresh mushrooms, and wild rice that has a nutty flavor.
- Cook the bacon until it's crispy: Crispy bacon adds a delicious smoky flavor to the dish. Cook it over medium heat until it's browned and crispy, but not burnt.
- Sauté the mushrooms until they're tender: Sautéing the mushrooms in butter brings out their umami flavor. Cook them over medium heat until they're tender and slightly browned.
- Use a flavorful broth: The broth you use to cook the wild rice will add a lot of flavor to the dish. Use a chicken or vegetable broth that has a rich flavor.
- Let the rice rest before serving: After the rice is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the rice to absorb all of the flavors from the broth and seasonings.
Conclusion:
Bacon and mushroom wild rice is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that's perfect for a weeknight meal. It's packed with flavor and nutrients, and it's sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
