2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup orange juice
TOPPING:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons cold butter

Steps:

  • Place sweet potatoes in a Dutch oven; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until tender, 20-30 minutes. Drain. When cool enough to handle, peel potatoes and cut into 1/4-in. slices. , Place half in a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish. Top with half of the cranberries, brown sugar and butter. Repeat layers. Pour orange juice over top. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. , In a small bowl, combine the walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter. Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 tablespoons sugar
1 can (15-3/4 ounces) sweet potatoes, drained and liquid reserved
Miniature marshmallows, optional

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats and cinnamon. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form. Set aside. 3 cups fresh cranberries, whole
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 small orange, sliced
1/2 cup pecan halves

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup packed lilght brown sugar
2/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup miniature marshmallow

Steps:

  • Place sweet potatoes in large pot, add water to cover sweet potatoes. Bring to boiling. Cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, let cool.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pell and mash sweet potatoes. Stir in cranberry sauce and cinnamon. Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole.

3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
2 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced (1/2 inch thick)

Steps:

  • Boil yams for 30 minutes or until tender yet firm. For a quicker method, poke holes in the yams and microwave on high for 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with the cornstarch and brown sugar. Whisk in the apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, and allspice. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Boil 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
