Tips:

  • Use ripe avocados: To ensure the best flavor and texture, choose ripe avocados that are slightly soft when gently squeezed.
  • Toast the cumin seeds: Toasting the cumin seeds enhances their flavor and adds a warm, nutty aroma to the dressing.
  • Use fresh lime juice: Fresh lime juice adds a bright, citrusy flavor to the dressing. Avoid using bottled lime juice, as it can have a bitter taste.
  • Season the salad to taste: Taste the salad before serving and adjust the seasoning as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lime juice to suit your preference.
  • Serve the salad immediately: Avocado salad is best served immediately after it is made, as the avocados can brown quickly.

The combination of ripe avocados, juicy tomatoes, and tangy lime dressing creates a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. The toasted cumin adds a warm, nutty touch that elevates the salad to a new level.
