3 slices american cheese
1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
1 lb ground beef
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup salsa
1 refried bean
1 taco seasoning
6 slices american cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tomato, chopped
sour cream
shredded cheese

Steps:

  • Combine crust ingredients except water in food processor bowl.
  • Pulse until the mixture creates coarse crumbles. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough forms a ball.
  • Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface. Place into 9-inch (22cm) pie plate, and trim the sides.
  • Bake at 400°F/204°C for 10-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  • Cook onions and beef in a medium skillet until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain if watery.
  • Return beef to skillet, add salsa, and taco seasoning. Cook until bubbly.

If you are short on time and need a quick dish, this is easy to make. I see on my notes that I got this out of a "book".

1/4 cup(s) onion, chopped
1/3 cup(s) black olives, sliced...i put the extra olives on the kids fingers
1 can(s) 8-ounce tomato sauce
1 package(s) (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning mix
1 can(s) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 cup(s) crushed corn chips
1 cup(s) sour cream
1 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
- shredded lettuce
1 - avocado, peeled and sliced
1 or 2 - tomatoes, sliced

  • Oven: 375 degrees Brown meat and onion in large skillet. Drain. Add - tomato sauce, taco seasoning and olives.
  • Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles and place in an un-greased 9" or 10" pie plate. Pressing to form a crust.
