CORN CASSEROLE
I got this recipe from my aunt-in-law.. if that exists. This is so easy to put together and even better to serve. Perfect when entertaining guests since you can start it ahead of time. Let it cook while you enjoy the comapny of your guests. We also make this on weekends so we have leftovers for the week days (as we are dual working parents).

Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen corn. Canned corn can be used in a pinch, but fresh or frozen corn will give your casserole a better flavor and texture.
- Don't overcook the corn. Overcooked corn will be tough and chewy. Cook it just until it is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Use a good quality cheddar cheese. The cheese is one of the main ingredients in this casserole, so it's important to use a good quality cheese that melts well. Sharp cheddar or extra sharp cheddar are good choices.
- Add some spice. If you like a little bit of heat, add some cayenne pepper or chili powder to the casserole. You could also add some chopped jalapeños or green chilies.
- Top with a crunchy topping. A crunchy topping, such as bread crumbs or crushed crackers, will add texture and flavor to the casserole. You could also top it with shredded cheese or bacon.
Conclusion:
Aunt Winnie's Corn Casserole is a classic Southern dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, delicious, and always a crowd-pleaser. Whether you're serving it for a holiday dinner or a weeknight meal, this casserole is sure to be a hit.
