Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and tools ready. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling.
  • Layer Carefully: When layering the salad, be careful not to press down too hard. You want the layers to be distinct but not compacted.
  • Chill Before Serving: After you've assembled the salad, chill it for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will help the flavors meld and the salad will be easier to slice.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh ingredients will make all the difference in the flavor of your salad. If possible, use organic ingredients.
  • Don't Overdress the Salad: A little dressing goes a long way. You don't want the salad to be soggy.
