Tips:

  • Choose the right asparagus. Look for spears that are firm and have tightly closed tips. Avoid spears that are limp or have woody ends.
  • Trim the asparagus properly. Using a sharp knife, cut off the tough ends of the asparagus spears. You can also peel the asparagus if you like, but this is not necessary.
  • Cook the asparagus quickly. Overcooking will make the asparagus tough and fibrous. Aim to cook the asparagus until it is still slightly crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients you use, the better your dish will taste. Look for good-quality ham, cheese, and lemon.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment. There are many different ways to cook asparagus, ham, and lemon. Try different recipes and find the ones that you like best.
