CHINESE STYLE SESAME SAUCE

Chinese Style Sesame Sauce image

This is the SAUCE for Chinese restaurant style sesame chicken and broccoli. This sauce can be poured over fried chicken, or used as a dipping sauce for fried chicken. I emphasize not using too much vinegar because it turns into a sweet-n-sour type sauce. But you do need a 'touch' of vinegar.

Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients prepped and measured. This will help the cooking process go smoothly.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your hot pot will taste. Buy the best quality ingredients you can afford.
  • Marinate the chicken: Marinating the chicken in the soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil mixture will help to tenderize it and give it a delicious flavor.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through: Chicken is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a meat thermometer to check the chicken's temperature.
  • Don't overcrowd the hot pot: If you overcrowd the hot pot, the chicken will not cook evenly. Add the chicken in batches if necessary.
  • Serve the hot pot with a variety of dipping sauces: The sesame and garlic dipping sauces are both delicious with the chicken. You can also serve the hot pot with other dipping sauces, such as soy sauce, hoisin sauce, or chili oil.

Conclusion:

Asian chicken hot pot is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a party or a weeknight dinner. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the dipping sauces add a delicious touch. With a little planning, you can have a delicious hot pot meal on the table in no time.
