Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and equipment ready. This will help you stay organized and make the cooking process smoother.
  • Tenderize the Beef: To ensure the beef is tender and flavorful, consider marinating it for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You can use a simple marinade made with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and rice wine.
  • Use a Wok or Large Skillet: A wok or large skillet is ideal for stir-frying as it allows for even heat distribution and quick cooking.
  • Control the Heat: Stir-frying requires high heat, but it's important to control the temperature to prevent burning. Adjust the heat as needed to maintain a consistent sizzle.
  • Stir Constantly: Stirring continuously while stir-frying helps distribute the heat evenly and prevents the ingredients from sticking together or burning.
  • Add the Vegetables in Stages: Different vegetables have different cooking times, so add them to the wok or skillet in stages, starting with those that take longer to cook.
  • Use a Sauce or Marinade: A flavorful sauce or marinade can greatly enhance the taste of your stir-fried beef and vegetables. You can use a store-bought sauce or make your own using soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, and other seasonings.
  • Garnish Before Serving: Garnish your stir-fried beef and snow peas with fresh herbs like cilantro or scallions for an extra pop of color and flavor.
