- Toss together apples, cabbage and onion, and stir in enough of the dressing to coat. Gently fold in most of tomato wedges, reserving some for garnish. Shape into four 3/4-in.-thick patties., In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
