Tips:

  • Choose high-quality lamb: Opt for fresh, grass-fed lamb for the best flavor and texture.
  • Marinate the lamb: Marinating the lamb in a flavorful mixture of herbs, spices, and olive oil helps tenderize and infuse it with delicious flavors.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: This recipe calls for potatoes, carrots, and onions, but you can also add other vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, or tomatoes.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When browning the lamb and vegetables, make sure not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly and becoming soggy.
  • Cook the lamb until it reaches your desired doneness: Depending on your preference, you can cook the lamb until it is pink in the center (medium-rare) or well-done.
  • Serve with a side dish: Arni exohiko is typically served with a side dish of rice, pasta, or bread.
