  • 3. Combine apricot nectar and next 4 ingredients in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously.
  • 4. Remove and refrigerate 3/4 cup marinade.
  • 5. Pour remaining marinade over turkey, turning to coat; seal bag or cover, and refrigerate overnight, turning turkey occasionally.

  • 10. Serve with chilled plum mixture.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, flavorful apricots and plums. This will ensure that your sauce has the best possible flavor.
  • If you don't have fresh apricots or plums, you can use frozen or dried fruit. Just be sure to thaw the fruit before using it.
  • You can add other fruits to your sauce, such as peaches, nectarines, or cherries. This will give your sauce a more complex flavor.
  • If you want a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry. To make a cornstarch slurry, mix equal parts cornstarch and water until smooth. Then, add the slurry to the sauce and cook over medium heat until the sauce has thickened.
  • Apricot plum sauce can be used as a dipping sauce, a marinade, or a glaze. It is also a great addition to stir-fries, curries, and other Asian dishes.

Conclusion:

Apricot plum sauce is a versatile condiment that can be used in a variety of ways. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a new sauce to try, give apricot plum sauce a try. You won't be disappointed!
