Tips:

  • Use ripe apricots. Ripe apricots are sweeter and have a more intense flavor, which will make your oat bars more delicious.
  • Don't overcook the oats. Overcooked oats will be mushy and not have a good texture. Cook the oats according to the package directions, or until they are tender but still have a slight bite to them.
  • Press the oat mixture firmly into the pan. This will help to keep the bars together and prevent them from falling apart.
  • Bake the bars until they are golden brown. This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a nice crispy crust.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
