Tips:

- To make sure your braid is evenly browned, brush it with an egg wash before baking. - If you don't have a pastry brush, you can use a spoon to brush the egg wash onto the braid. - Be careful not to overfill the braid with apricot filling, or it will burst open during baking. - If you want a sweeter braid, you can add more sugar to the filling. - You can also add other ingredients to the filling, such as chopped nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips. - If you don't have time to make the braid from scratch, you can use store-bought puff pastry dough. - To make the braid ahead of time, assemble it and then freeze it. When you're ready to bake it, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight and then bake it according to the recipe instructions.
