Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the apricots have softened, 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley to serve.
Tips:
- Use a variety of apricots. Fresh, dried, or canned apricots can all be used in this recipe. If using fresh apricots, be sure to pit and slice them before cooking.
- Choose a good quality balsamic vinegar. A good balsamic vinegar will have a thick, syrupy consistency and a sweet and tangy flavor. Avoid using a cheap balsamic vinegar, as it will not have the same flavor or consistency.
- Don't overcrowd the skillet. When cooking the chicken, be sure to not overcrowd the skillet. This will prevent the chicken from cooking evenly.
- Cook the chicken until it is cooked through. The chicken should be cooked until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Serve the chicken immediately. This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The chicken will be tender and juicy, and the sauce will be flavorful and tangy.
Conclusion:
Apricot balsamic skillet chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce is flavorful and tangy. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
