Tips:
- Use fresh apples for the applesauce. Fresh apples will give your pancakes a more vibrant flavor and texture than store-bought applesauce.
- If you don't have applesauce, you can make your own. Simply peel and core 3-4 apples, then simmer them in a pot with a little water and sugar until they are soft. Mash the apples with a potato masher or food processor until they are smooth.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make your pancakes tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
- Cook the pancakes over medium heat. Medium heat will help the pancakes cook evenly without burning them.
- Serve the pancakes with apple cider syrup. Apple cider syrup is the perfect complement to applesauce pancakes. You can make your own apple cider syrup by simmering apple cider with sugar and spices until it thickens.
Conclusion:
Applesauce pancakes are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch dish. They are perfect for a fall morning, when apples are in season. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a batch of fluffy and flavorful pancakes that the whole family will love. Serve them with apple cider syrup for a truly special treat.
