Tips:
- Choose the right apples: Use a firm apple that holds its shape well when baked, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Grate the apples: This will help them distribute evenly throughout the batter and give the bread a moist texture.
- Toast the sunflower seeds: This will bring out their flavor and make them more crunchy.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the bread tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
- Let the bread cool before slicing: This will help the bread hold its shape.
