I got this out of a coupon paper, it looks awesome. I'd like to use granny smith apples with this, and it calls for 2 apples so I picked one of each recommended. I'm also subbing the cranberries for chopped dates because it looks sweet enough!

Tips:

  • Choose the right apples. For this salad, you'll want to use a firm, tart apple that will hold its shape when tossed with the dressing. Some good options include Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Braeburn apples.
  • Use fresh, high-quality maple syrup. The maple dressing is the star of this salad, so it's important to use a good quality maple syrup. Look for a syrup that is dark and thick, and has a rich, maple flavor.
  • Don't overdress the salad. A little bit of dressing goes a long way in this salad. You want to just lightly coat the apples with the dressing, so that they're still crisp and flavorful.
  • Serve the salad immediately. This salad is best served immediately after it's made. The apples will start to soften and lose their crunch if you let the salad sit for too long.

Conclusion:

This apple salad with creamy maple dressing is a delicious, refreshing, and healthy salad that's perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a light and flavorful salad, give this one a try!
