Tips:

  • Use a muffin pan with 12 cups to make 12 individual apple pies.
  • To make the pie crust, you can use a pre-made pie crust mix or make your own from scratch. If you are making your own, be sure to chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out.
  • When rolling out the pie crust, be sure to flour your work surface and rolling pin to prevent the dough from sticking.
  • To make the apple filling, you can use any type of apples you like. Granny Smith apples are a good choice because they hold their shape well when baked.
  • Be sure to peel and core the apples before slicing them.
  • When filling the muffin cups with the apple filling, be sure to leave some space at the top so that the pies don't overflow.
  • To make the streusel topping, you can use a pre-made streusel mix or make your own from scratch.
  • If you are making your own streusel, be sure to use cold butter and flour to create a crumbly texture.
  • Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the apple filling in each muffin cup.
  • Bake the apple pies in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let the apple pies cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • You can serve the apple pies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
