CARAMEL APPLE PIE MARTINI

Caramel Apple Pie Martini image

I came up with this when I was in the mood for an apple pie martini, but I was out of vanilla vodka. These don't taste as boozy as they are, so they are kind of dangerous! This makes two large drinks or three if your glasses are small.

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 can(s) apple pie filling
12 oz cool whip
1/2-1 c graham cracker crumbs
apple pie spice
1 maraschino cherry
5 martini glasses

Steps:

  • 1. Wash glasses really well and let dry. Start by adding a layer of crumbs, the pie filing then cool whip ending with the cool whip. Sprinkle each layer with apple pie spice. Top off with a cherry. Refrigerate till ready to serve.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh apples. Granny Smith apples are a good choice because they hold their shape well when baked.
  • To make sure the crust is flaky, use cold butter and work it quickly into the flour. Avoid overworking the dough, as this will make it tough.
  • If you don't have a pie plate, you can use a 9-inch springform pan. Just be sure to line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.
  • To prevent the crust from getting too brown, cover the edges of the pie with foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  • Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before serving. This will allow the filling to set and the crust to firm up.

Conclusion:

Apple pie is a classic American dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its flaky crust, sweet and tart filling, and creamy topping, it's sure to be a hit with everyone. Whether you're making it for a special occasion or just for a weeknight treat, this apple pie martini is sure to please.
