APPLE-PEAR COBBLER
After trying recipe after recipe for cobblers that were simply too sweet, I put this together. It's sweetened with honey and a little brown sugar that enhances the apples and pears, rather than smother their flavor.

Tips:
- Use a variety of apples and pears. This will give your cobbler a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include Granny Smith apples, Honeycrisp apples, Bartlett pears, and Bosc pears.
- Peel and core the apples and pears before slicing them. This will make them easier to eat and will help the cobbler to cook evenly.
- Use a combination of white and brown sugar. This will give your cobbler a richer flavor. You can also add a little bit of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra spice.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the cobbler tough. Just stir until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the cobbler until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. This will usually take about 45 minutes.
- Serve the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Conclusion:
Apple pear cobbler is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With its sweet and tangy flavor, apple pear cobbler is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.
