Tips:
- To make the pie filling, you can use a variety of apples, pears, and cranberries. Some good options include Granny Smith apples, Bartlett pears, and fresh cranberries.
- If you don't have fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries instead. Just be sure to thaw them before using.
- To make the pie crust, you can use a pre-made pie crust mix or you can make your own from scratch. If you're making your own pie crust, be sure to chill it for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out.
- When rolling out the pie crust, be sure to flour your work surface and rolling pin to prevent the dough from sticking.
- To prevent the pie crust from shrinking, be sure to trim the edges of the dough before baking.
- To make the pie filling, simply combine the apples, pears, cranberries, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir until the fruit is evenly coated.
- Pour the pie filling into the pie crust and dot with butter. Cover the pie with the top crust and seal the edges.
- Bake the pie in a preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
