Tips:

  • Choose the right apples and oranges: Use a combination of sweet and tart apples, such as Granny Smith and Honeycrisp, and navel or Valencia oranges for a well-balanced flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in a tough and dense bread. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh apples and oranges will give your bread the best flavor. If you can, use organic produce.
  • Don't overbake the bread: The bread is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking can dry out the bread.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help the bread to hold its shape and prevent it from crumbling.
