Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: Use a variety of apples that will hold their shape when cooked, such as Granny Smith, Braeburn, or Honeycrisp.
  • Use fresh, ripe grapes: Grapes that are too soft or mushy will not hold their shape in the chutney.
  • Don't overcook the chutney: The chutney should be cooked until the apples and grapes are softened but still hold their shape.
  • Let the chutney cool completely before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Store the chutney in a cool, dark place: The chutney will keep for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator or up to 6 months in the freezer.
