APPLE CRISP MUFFINS
This is a tasty, moist muffin that's good for you too. I named this 'apple crisp' because it has the same ingredients as warm apple crisp except in a muffin. It is delicious with a streusel topping!

- Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan, filling to top. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Tips:
- Use a variety of apples. This will give your muffins a more complex flavor and texture. Some good choices include Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Pink Lady.
- Peel and core your apples before cooking them. This will help them to cook evenly and prevent the muffins from becoming too mushy.
- Cook the apples until they are soft and tender. This will help them to release their natural sweetness and flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the muffins tough and dense.
- Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will ensure that they are cooked through.
