Tips:
- Choosing the right apples: Applesauce and chopped apples are both used in this recipe. For the applesauce, use a variety that will break down easily when cooked, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp. For the chopped apples, use a variety that will hold its shape well, such as Braeburn or Pink Lady.
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your coffee cake the best flavor. If you can, use homemade applesauce instead of store-bought.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make your coffee cake tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Bake the coffee cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This is the best way to ensure that your coffee cake is cooked through.
- Let the coffee cake cool before serving: This will allow the flavors to develop and the cake to set.

This apple coffee cake recipe from Tasty is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
