6 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chunky applesauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease and flour 9 x 5 in bread pan.
  • Beat milk, butter, and sugar at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each addition.

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups chopped peeled tart apples
TOPPING:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1/3 cup cold butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. In another bowl, whisk eggs, applesauce, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apples. 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons buttermilk
1 cup grated peeled apple
1 cup chopped nuts
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
