Tips:

  • Use fresh, crisp apples. This will give your cake the best flavor and texture.
  • Peel and core your apples before slicing them. This will make it easier to slice the apples evenly and will help to prevent the cake from becoming too mushy.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice your apples. This will help to ensure that the apples are evenly sliced and will help to prevent them from browning.
  • Don't overcrowd the cake pan. If you overcrowd the pan, the cake will not bake evenly.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will ensure that the cake is cooked through.
  • Let the cake cool completely before glazing it. This will help the glaze to set properly.
  • Store the cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the cake for up to 2 months.
