Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients-- kneed dough, add in small amounts oil or water if dough is to stiff. Roll out dough to desired thickness and cut into fun shapes using your cookie cutters. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until browned.
Tips:
- Choose ripe apples. The sweeter the apples, the tastier the treats will be.
- Use a food processor or blender to grate the apples. This will make the treats smooth and consistent.
- Add a little bit of water to the batter if it's too thick. The batter should be thick enough to hold its shape, but not so thick that it's difficult to mix.
- Don't overcook the treats. They should be baked until they're just set, but not browned.
- Let the treats cool completely before serving. This will help them to firm up and hold their shape.
Conclusion:
These apple cinnamon dog treats are a delicious and healthy snack for your furry friend. They're made with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and they're easy to make. Plus, they're a great way to use up any leftover apples you might have. Your dog will love these treats, and you'll love knowing that you're giving them something that's good for them.
