2 large eggs
1 cup 2% milk
2 cups biscuit/baking mix
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 large apples, peeled and shredded
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Butter and maple syrup, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk eggs and milk until blended. Add biscuit mix and bacon; stir just until moistened. Fold in apples and cheese., Lightly grease a griddle; heat over medium heat. 1 large egg, room temperature
3/4 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In an 8-in. cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. 2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup buttermilk or 1 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 large granny smith apples, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
