  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Bake pudding in middle of oven 30 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar evenly over top and bake pudding 15 minutes more.

Tips:

  • Use a variety of apples for a more complex flavor. Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Braeburn are all good choices.
  • Shred the apples rather than dicing them. This will help them to distribute more evenly throughout the bread pudding.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the bread pudding tough.
  • Bake the bread pudding in a water bath. This will help to prevent it from drying out.
  • Let the bread pudding cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will help it to set.

Conclusion:

Apple cheddar bread pudding is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and savory flavors, it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give this recipe a try.
