APPLE-BUTTER BANANA BREAD
This recipe is a bit unusual because there is apple butter added to the batter which replaces the fat that would come from butter (which a lot of quick bread recipes use) and there is also canola oil added instead of vegetable so It's a little healthier. The Apple Butter gives this bread a lot of flavor as well. Enjoy, This is delicious! From BHG.

APPLE BUTTER BREAD
I found this through my electric co-op magazine and boy am I ever glad I did. Truly a nice moist quick bread. The key to this bread is obtaining a dark, rich apple butter - the darker the better for flavor. I used White House Apple Butter which was wonderful and outside of my mom's fresh homemade apple butter it is the best I've tried. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family.

- Whisk in the water, then oil, then brown sugar, then the eggs (not all together). Mix until smooth.

- Bake at 350F for 65-70 minutes for the 9-inch pan or 45-50 minutes for the mini-loaves.

APPLE BANANA BREAD
This recipe is now back to my original posting as I posted it at Recipezaar many years ago. Recently I noticed that somehow the name got changed as did some of the ingredients. In 2005 I wrote that this is a moist light bread/cake with just a hint of cinnamon. Keeep an eye on cooking times as too long and it will be drier. Also leave in tin for about 5 mins before turning out onto a rack to cool completely. Slices can be served as a dessert topped with custard and whipped cream, or cold and buttered.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
- Cream butter and sugars, and beat in eggs.
- Stir in sour cream, bananas and vanilla.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon.
- Gradually add to butter mixture.
- Gently stir in apples and nuts
- Spoon into greased bread pan and bake 1 hour.
Tips:
- Use very ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your banana bread will be.
- Mash the bananas thoroughly. This will help to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Use a combination of all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour. This will give your banana bread a denser, more flavorful texture.
- Add a little bit of baking soda to the batter. This will help to make your banana bread light and fluffy.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make your banana bread tough.
- Bake the banana bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will usually take about 50-60 minutes.
Conclusion:
Apple Butter Banana Bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With its moist texture, sweet and tangy flavor, and irresistible aroma, this bread is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give this recipe a try!
