Steps:
- Preheat a gas grill for high heat, or arrange charcoal briquettes on one side of the barbeque. Lightly oil the grate.
- In a small jar, combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Close the lid, and shake to mix.
- Trim the membrane sheath from the back of each rack. Run a small, sharp knife between the membrane and each rib, and snip off the membrane as much as possible. Sprinkle as much of the rub onto both sides of the ribs as desired. To prevent the ribs from becoming too dark and spicy, do not thoroughly rub the spices into the ribs. Store the unused portion of the spice mix for future use.
- Place aluminum foil on lower rack to capture drippings and prevent flare-ups. Lay the ribs on the top rack of the grill (away from the coals, if you're using briquettes). Reduce gas heat to low, close lid, and leave undisturbed for 1 hour. Do not lift the lid at all.
- Brush ribs with barbecue sauce, and grill an additional 5 minutes. Serve ribs as whole rack, or cut between each rib bone and pile individually on a platter.

Steps:
- Preheat the grill to medium.
- Combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, red pepper, mustard and salt in small bowl. Mix until well blended. Put each rib rack onto a large piece of heavy duty foil. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly onto both rib racks. Fold up the sides of the foil, and pour 1/4 cup of apple juice into each rib foil packet. Close the foil package, leaving room at the top for heat circulation. Grill the packets for 1 hour on medium heat.
- Meanwhile, combine 1/4 cup apple juice, the barbeque sauce, applesauce, cider vinegar, cinnamon and ginger in small bowl until well blended.
- Remove the ribs from the foil packet. Return them to the grill and brush them with the barbecue sauce mixture until well coated and caramelized.
- Remove the racks from the grill to a cutting board and cut into 2-rib sections. Arrange the ribs on a serving platter and serve. Enjoy!

Tips:
- To make fall-off-the-bone ribs, cook them low and slow. The ideal cooking temperature is between 225°F and 250°F.
- Use a flavorful rub to enhance the taste of the ribs. A good rub typically includes a combination of sweet, savory, and spicy ingredients.
- Apply the rub to the ribs evenly and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- Cook the ribs on a smoker or in a covered grill. This will help to create a smoky flavor and keep the ribs moist.
- Baste the ribs with apple BBQ sauce during the last hour of cooking. This will help to caramelize the sauce and give the ribs a glossy finish.
- Let the ribs rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
Conclusion:
Apple BBQ sauce baby back ribs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. By following these tips, you can create fall-off-the-bone ribs that are packed with flavor. So fire up your grill or smoker and get ready to enjoy some amazing ribs!
