APPLE, BANANA,OATMEAL NUT BREAD

Apple, banana,oatmeal nut bread image

Just trying something different. Hope it turns out well. After making this, I believe it would be better to just make one loaf as two were not very big. I changed the directions to accommodate this. If you think you have too much batter for one loaf, make a couple of muffins with the excess.

Really yummy breakfast. I eat it everyday, sometimes with 1 apple and a handful of raisins of only the banana and vegan pure chocolate chips

Provided by leonie_verheijen_93

Categories     Breakfast

Time 10m

Yield 1 bowl, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

30 g rolled oatmeal
1 medium apple
1 medium banana
1/3 cup soya milk
1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Cut the apple and banana in small pieces and put them in a microwave bowl.
  • Add the oatmeal, soy milk, water and cinnamon and stir.
  • Cook it in the microwave for 5 minutes.

Tips:

  • Select ripe bananas: Use ripe bananas with yellow peels and brown spots for a sweeter and more flavorful oatmeal.
  • Adjust sweetness: Taste the oatmeal before adding honey or maple syrup. The natural sweetness of the apples and bananas may be enough.
  • Use old-fashioned oats: Old-fashioned oats provide a more chewy texture compared to quick or instant oats.
  • Add nuts and seeds: Enhance the oatmeal with chopped walnuts, almonds, chia seeds, or flaxseeds for added crunch and nutrition.
  • Garnish before serving: Top the oatmeal with a sprinkle of cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, and a few slices of banana for an Instagram-worthy presentation.

This apple-banana oatmeal recipe is a delightful and nutritious breakfast option that combines the goodness of apples, bananas, and oats.
