Air Fryer Essentials: Spicy Cajun Shrimp image

Threw this together last night and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful they were. The two changes I made were to use butter, in place of oil, and the addition of the breadcrumbs. Plus, the dipping sauce, adds just the right amount of heat, and sweet. Easy/Peasy to make... great to eat. So, you ready... Let's get into...

  • 5. Peel the shrimp, remove the veins, but leave the tails on.
  • 6. Add the melted butter, and Cajun spice to a bowl (plus the breadcrumbs, if using) toss in the shrimp, and let sit for about 5 minutes.

Tips:

1. Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp have a sweeter and more delicate flavor than frozen shrimp. If you are using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely before cooking. 2. Season the shrimp well: The Cajun seasoning is what gives these shrimp bites their signature flavor. Be sure to use a generous amount of seasoning. 3. Don't overcook the shrimp: Shrimp cook quickly, so it's important not to overcook them. Overcooked shrimp will be tough and rubbery. 4. Serve the shrimp bites warm: These shrimp bites are best served warm out of the oven. They can be served with a variety of dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing, cocktail sauce, or tartar sauce.

Conclusion:

These Cajun shrimp bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any party or gathering. They are sure to be a hit with your guests! Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
