1 package (32 ounces) frozen cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

  • In a 4-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 6 ingredients. Stir in hash browns and 1-1/2 cups cheese. Cook, covered, on low until potatoes are tender, 4-5 hours, sprinkling with remaining cheese during the last 5 minutes.

1 (2 lb) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cheddar cheese or 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) sour cream
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups corn flakes or 2 cups French-fried onions, crushed
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
