- 1. Cut tomatoes in half and clean out pulp. Lay in bottom of a dish with a lip on it.
- 2. Season WELL with coarse sea salt and ground black pepper.
- 3. Tear basil leaves and press a piece down inside each tomato half.
- 4. Take a mozzarella pearl and press down on the basil leaf to get it to sit inside tomato half.
- 5. Drizzle with olive oil followed by balsamic vinegar.
- 6. Sit out at room temperature so mozzarella has time to get warm and bring out it's natural flavors. GOBBLE UP and ENJOY!!! Make lots because you won't be able to eat just 5 or 10. You'll want more and more.
