Tips:

  • To ensure a moist and flavorful meatloaf, use a combination of ground beef and ground pork. The pork adds fat and moisture, which helps to keep the meatloaf from drying out.
  • Don't overmix the meatloaf mixture. Overmixing can make the meatloaf tough.
  • Add some grated vegetables, such as carrots, celery, or zucchini, to the meatloaf mixture. This will add flavor and moisture, and it will also help to keep the meatloaf from shrinking.
  • Season the meatloaf mixture generously with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. This will help to give the meatloaf flavor.
  • To prevent the meatloaf from sticking to the pan, line the pan with parchment paper or grease it with cooking spray.
  • Bake the meatloaf at a moderate temperature (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 1 hour, or until it is cooked through. A meat thermometer inserted into the center of the meatloaf should read 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the meatloaf to retain its juices.

Conclusion:

Anne's Favorite Meatloaf is a classic recipe that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With its moist and flavorful interior and crispy, browned exterior, this meatloaf is sure to be a hit at your next potluck or family dinner. So next time you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meatloaf recipe, give Anne's Favorite Meatloaf a try. You won't be disappointed!
