Tips:
- **Overripe Pineapple**: For the best flavor, choose a very sweet, juicy and slightly soft pineapple. If you can't find a perfectly ripened pineapple, you can hasten the ripening process by placing it in a paper bag with an apple for a day or two. - **Canned Crushed Pineapple**: If you don't have fresh pineapple or prefer canned, be sure to drain the pineapple very well before using it. You can also use unsweetened pineapple chunks; just remember to drain and chop them before using. - **Whipped Cream**: For a lighter texture, you can use whipped topping instead of heavy cream. You can also make your whipped cream at home for a more natural taste. - **Serving Suggestions**: This cake is delicious served on its own, but you can also top it with additional whipped cream, toasted shredded, nuts or fresh pineapple wedges. For a special occasion, you can even serve it with a scoop of ice cream. Conclusion:
This Angel Pineapple Delight is a light, fluffy and tropical cake that's perfect for any occasion. The combination of pineapple, cream cheese and whipped cream makes it a truly special treat. With its delicious flavor and stunning appearance, this cake is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
