1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, in juice, undrained
1 cup whipped topping
1 cup fresh berries
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Yield 1 cake, 8-10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling (4 serving size)
1 cup thawed whipped topping
1 prepared angel food cake
seasonal berries

  • Spread 1/3 pudding mixture over bottom layer of cake. Top with second layer. Repeat layering, ending with pudding.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Garnish with your favorite seasonal berries.

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start baking, make sure all your ingredients and tools are measured, prepped, and ready to use. This will help ensure a smooth and efficient baking process.
  • Room Temperature Ingredients: Unless otherwise specified, make sure your ingredients are at room temperature before mixing. This will help them blend together more easily and create a smoother batter.
  • Don't Overmix: Overmixing can result in a tough, dense cake. Mix only until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Proper Baking Temperature: Make sure your oven is preheated to the correct temperature before baking. An inaccurate oven temperature can affect the texture and quality of your cake.
  • Use Fresh Pineapple: For the best flavor, use fresh pineapple. If you're using canned pineapple, be sure to drain and pat it dry before adding it to the batter.
  • Cool Completely: Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting or serving. This will help prevent the frosting from melting and the cake from falling apart.

With its fluffy texture, sweet pineapple flavor, and tangy cream cheese frosting, the Angel Lush Cake with Pineapple is a delightful treat that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're serving it for dessert or enjoying it as an afternoon snack, this cake is sure to be a hit.
