  • Use Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor, use fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices. Fresh zucchini, corn, and bell peppers give this casserole its signature summery taste.
  • Layer It Properly: The key to a successful Six Layer Casserole is in the layering. Make sure to follow the recipe's instructions carefully, layering the ingredients in the correct order.
  • Use a Wide Casserole Dish: A wide casserole dish will allow the casserole to cook evenly and prevent the center from becoming undercooked.
  • Don't Overcook: Cook the casserole just until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Overcooking can result in a dry, tough casserole.
